  • 10:00h. Nora Sternfeld. Art educator and curator, documenta Professor at Kunsthochschule Kassel.  Framework paper to address the issue of transversalities inside the institution placing special emphasis on mediation and educational curatorship.

  • 11:30h. Victoria Gil Delgado. Head of Education Programmes. CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (Mósteles, Madrid). Case study about the relationships between exhibition curators and the learning team within the institution.
  • 12:15h. Leanne Turvey. Convenor Schools and Teachers Program, Learning Department. Tate Modern (London). Case study on how to approach transversality from the education team itself, its collaborators and other museum departments.

4 October | Transversality towards the social sphere

Museums / community economies / healthy ecosystems: challenges and potentials of the ecologies of cultural institutions.  Framework paper to address the theme of the interaction of museums in the social sphere.

  • 11:30h. Leire San Martin. Head of Mediation. Tabakalera. International Centre of Contemporary Culture (San Sebastián). Case study about social and cultural networks woven from the framework of the institution.
  • 12:15h. Carles García. Museu del Ter Director (Manlleu, Barcelona). Case study about working with the community and connecting with the social context.
  • 13:00h. Panel discussion with Javier Rodrigo, Leire San Martin and Carles García. Moderated by: Pablo Coca. Department of Plastics Arts Didactics. Universidad de Valladolid.
